A video title set (VTS) is a group of related video titles or film clips in your
DVD project. Each DVD project must have at least one video title set. The DVD
specifications allow up to 99 VTSes per DVD project. In general, one VTS is
sufficient for most simple DVD projects.
Scenarist allows the creation of additional video title sets at any time during
the authoring process. If you are not decided on how many video title sets you
will need for the project, leave this default selection as is and additional video
title sets can be created later if needed. Click Next to continue.
The Project Wizard asks you to define the target folder where the required final
VIDEO_TS directory is created. To create DVD projects for single-layered recordable
DVD-R media, the total size of all files in the VIDEO_TS directory cannot exceed
4.38 GB. You should check the free hard disk space where the target folder resides
to make sure there is enough storage. This would help to avoid errors during the
DVD creation process. The target and the DVDRoot folder should be on the same
physical hard drive. The multiplexer directory is used for holding temporary
multiplexed files (VOB files for individual scenes) before merging to the final
destination VTS. This directory can be placed on a different hard drive if the
free hard disk space is less than twice the size of the DVD project.
