It is time to choose the Layout Editor and select the appropriate output folders for the DVD disc image. Scenarist displays a status bar and the approximate time needed to complete the layout generation. Two folders AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS, as required by the DVD specifications, are created at the specified output directory. Most DVD players do not require the presence of the AUDIO_TS folder.

The following message is displayed when the generation of the layout is completed (the required creation of the VIDEO_TS folder). A brief summary of informational or error messages is displayed in the Information window. The DVD disc image can then be burned to a recordable DVD-R by Scenarist or any other DVD burning tool such as Nero Burning Rom.
