The color and contrast settings for the subtitle can be adjusted in the Simulation window as shown in the following picture. In our import script, the color codes (4 3 2 1) are assigned to the color groups BG, P, E1, and E2, respectively. The contrast setting for BG (background) is 0% (level 0, mnimum) and other color groups is 100% (level 15, maximum). The input color is white for background, black for pattern, and blue for edges as following.



We can switch back and forth between the original subpicture image for the subtitle (via the Original Subpicture Image menu item) and its actual display (via the Display Color menu item) as following. The Half Size menu item toggles the display between its full and half size.
