The following screen shot shows what the Scenario Editor tab contains after the
third chapter is added to the PGC. We can make a cell seamless by selecting the
appropriate attribute in the Seamless Flag drop-down list in the Property. Seamless
playback refers to the continual flow of play with no noticeable delay or
discontinuity. Note that the first cell of any PGC is non-seamless by default and
cannot have the seamless attribute.
It is time to create the title menu and the VTS root menu. The DVD specifications
allow one title menu for each language unit defined in the Video Manager VMG. Each
VTS can have one root menu for each defined language unit. You can refer to previous
guides if you do not remember how to create the entry PGC for the title menu and
the VTS root menu. In this project, we design the title menu to be displayed as the
root menu. This can be easily accomplished by linking the title menu to the root
menu with a single virtual machine command JumpSS RootMenu. More information
regarding this procedure is discussed in subsequent sections of this guide.
We continue to create additional PGCs to hold the VTS menus: the chapter/PTT menu,
the angle menu, and the audio menu. Here is a quick reminder in case you no longer
remember how to do this. To create the additional menus, click the language unit
icon (English) and right click to pop up the context menu. We then select "Add PGC"
to create the required PGCs. After the PGC is created, we need to click to select it.
We can then change its properties from the Property Browser window. The following
screen shot shows the assignment of the Audio Menu from the Menu ID drop-down list
to the PGC labeled PGC_4. The label of the PGC can be changed by entering any
preferable name into the "Name" field as following.
