It is time to select the Scenario Editor tab to start assemblying the three tracks
we just created. Scenarist automatically creates the following four icons to
represent the appropriate DVD data structures: the First-Play PGC, the Video Manager
VMG, the first video title set (VTS_1), and the first title (Title_1). An arrow links
the precommand section of the First-Play PGC to the title labeled Title_1 (with the
virtual machine command JumpTT 1). This means that when the DVD disc is put into a
DVD player, the first title is played back automatically. Drag the the first scene
(01r-t-scn) from the Asset Manager window and drop it to the Title_1 icon as
following.
An entry PGC labeled 01r-t-scn-pgc is created for the title Title_1 to hold the first
track with no precommands and no postcommands. The first track becomes the first
chapter of the DVD disc as indicated by the program icon labeled 01r-t-scn-pg. The
icon labeled 01r-t-scn-cell represents the cell which contains the multiplexed
streams of video and audio for the first chapter. We continue to add the remaining
chapters by dragging the scenes 02r-t-scn and 03r-t-scn and drop it on the PGC icon
as shown in the following picture. The second chapter contains two seamless cells
which represent two video angles of the same track (note the way the base cell icon
is shown without the seamless/non-seamless flag). The DVD virtual command SetSTN
(Set Stream Number) is used to select the video and audio angles.
