Scenarist creates a button icon in the Scenario Editor for the title menu cell as shown in the following picture. Since there are four buttons (menu items) on the title menu page, Scenarist assigns one virtual command (Nop for No Operation) for each menu item. The DVD specifications allow only one button command for each menu button. For more information, visit the following page which lists all valid button commands defined by the DVD specifications.



Scenarist can generate the appropriate virtual machine command for each button in most common situations where there is no conditional branching. For example, to link the menu button "Title 1" from the title menu to the first title of the VTS labeled VTS_1, we can just drag the button icon and drop it at the title icon labeled Title_1 as following.
