Launch Adobe Premiere and choose an appropriate preset or use the same setting as in this guide (DV-NTSC Real-time Preview) and click OK when done.


Premiere shows a project workspace with an empty timeline. Select File (or press Alt-F), then choose Open... (or press Ctrl-O) to locate the 5-second video clip (1.avi) to build the first thumbnail for the chapter menu page. Drag the input video clip and drop it on the Video 1A area of the time line. Premiere shows the first frame of the video clip as following:


Select File (or press Alt-F), then choose Open... (or press Ctrl-O) to locate the 5-second video clip (2.avi) to build the second thumbnail. Drag the input video clip and drop it on the bottom Video 1B area of the time line as shown below.
