Change the location of the menu text. To move a menu item to a different
location, select its layer from the Layer palette. Then select the Move tool from the
Tool palette (or press V). We can now move the text by just dragging it to a new
location or to make 1-pixel nudging by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
Changes to the text attributes. From the Layer palette, select the layer
containing the menu item you want to make changes. In this example, we want to change
the point size of the menu item "Play Movie". Press T or select the Type tool from
the Tool palette as shown below. From the tool bar, we can change the typeface
(Georgia) to any installed typeface on your system, style (Normal, Bold, Italic, or
Bold Italic), point size and font color. To change the actual text, just click on the
text itself and type in your new text. The cursor is displayed as a caret as shown
below right.
To change the text color, click on the text color selection icon (shown as a white
rectangle on the right side of the tool bar above) to display the following screen.
We can type in the new color value or move the cursor (automatically shown as an
eyedropper) to the color swatch to choose a different color. If you do not see the
color swatch, click Windows->Swatch to display the color swatch palette.
