This page helps you create a stylish animation text effect with an explosion of stars in your choice of assorted colors or rainbow colors. You can control the number of stars, the size of the stars, and the area of dispersion to direct viewer attention to your message. The letters of the text message are rotated around the center of each letter and faded out at the end of the animation.

You can define the number of 360-degree turns to display the letters while they are being faded out. Both clockwise and counterclockwise direction are possible. You can vary several basic parameters such as the initial and ending font size, font colors, and the explosion speed to customize the animation sequence for your design need. This effect is available with five high-quality commercial typefaces.

This technique should be animated at relatively high speed to make the explosion effect more appealing. This animation effect is processor intensive so it is not recommended for designs that require text displayed at large size.

The image is originally designed at 400 by 200 pixels. If the image width and height are specified at this size, no scaling will occur. For best result, your design image should be cropped to the same dimension to avoid the scaling artifacts.

The Linux-based ActionScripting engine behind this page generates the graphic file in industry standard Flash swf format that is supported by most modern browsers, and is compatible to all Flash player versions. You can leave all paramaters at their default values and generate the Flash file with just one click.

All you need to do is to supply the text and choose an appropriate background, the number of stars and the amount of dispersion. The final Flash file is generated including appropriate HTML codes with just one click. You do not need to know Flash or program its scripting language. You do not have to use any traditional desktop Flash tools to create this effect.

The following Flash image demonstrates this explosion effect. The explosion pattern consists of stars of random sizes dispersed over an area centered at each letter of the text message.

For best visual appealing results, a small number of stars should be used when choosing a small area of dispersion. You can change the placement offset of the center of the pattern so the explosion appears directly behind each animated character.

The explosion pattern can be made denser by varying the number of stars and the size of the stars. You should specify a fairly long duration for the initial explosion pattern to appear with its blinking stars and glitters.
