If the main movie title is still too large to fit within a 4.38-gigabyte DVD-R, you still can have a true digital copy of the selected video title without any loss of video and audio quality by splitting the title into two separate DVD-Rs.

Select the "Split to 2 discs" option. When this option is used, you need to specify the folder name for the second disk or simply select the option "Create Subfolders Disc1 and Disc2" to create these subfolders and then rename them to VIDEO_TS later. You can then select the split point, the number of chapters you want to put on the first and second disc. The auto-chapters option splits the same number of chapters per disk.

Select "Skip Disc 1" or "Skip Disc 2" if you just want to generate one split disk. The number of chapters and the required disc size are shown for each split disc. A progress bar associated with each split disk indicates the percentage of completion.

Select "Pause at the end of disc" to force the DVD player to stop at the end of the first split disc. DVD-Replica provides several 15-second video clips which can be appended to the end of the first split disc or to the beginning of the second split disc. Select "Add Continue on Disc 2" or "Add Continued from Disc 1" accordingly or you can use your own video clip. Your own video clip should be a single title (no menu, no angle) on a DVD-compliant VIDEO_TS folder.
