We use DVD-Lab Pro's built-in wizard to choose the appropriate settings for this project. This guide shows you how to produce a DVD title with a root menu having motion video background. The VTS contains a group of slide shows that can be selected from the root menu. DVD-Lab Pro generates all appropriate DVD data structures and virtual commands automatically for the following project setting.

We start with the root menu "Menu 1". We now drag the video file "swans.mpg" included with this project and drop it to the menu background screen as following. Since this is a standard NTSC Mpeg-2 video clip, DVD-Lab Pro makes this menu a motion menu. The audio track is not required for motion menu so we can have a choice to supply the audio track or not. Without audio, the motion menu behaves like a silent movie.
