By default, DVD-Lab Pro returns to the VTS root menu at the end of each slide show
(Program Chain). To play back the random slide shows continuously, we have to
return to the pre-command section of the slide show 3.1 to choose the next
randomized slide show. The following screen shot of the Connections window show
the pre-command section of the slide show 3.1 (PGC 3) with a plus sign symbol.
We redraw the links for the slide shows 3.1 through 3.5 so that the playback is
returned to the pre-command section of the slide show 3.1 as following. We can
generate the DVD image by "Compile DVD..." after this procedure is completed.
DVD-Lab automatically generates the virtual command (LinkPGCN) to loop back a
motion menu. You can skip the following section if you are satisfied with the
quality of transition of the root menu. On certain DVD players, this command may
show a noticeable discontinuity when looping back a video motion menu. If you want
the looping back seamless, the virtual command LinkCN should be used instead of
LinkPGCN. LinkCN is designed for this purpose since it is more efficient and has a
lot less processing overhead requirements than LinkPGCN. Since DVD-Lab Pro does not
allow changes to its generated virtual commands, we need to use additional tool,
such as IFOEdit to make the required modifications.
