DVD-Lab Pro offers several methods to enter the virtual command. You can type in
the command as following: GPRM2 = 2, LinkTailPGC (button 0), or if you know the
hexadecimal codes of the commands, simply type them in the "Reverse VM Code"
field.
We can also use the DVD VM Command Generator, provided with this guide to
generate the required hexadecimal codes quickly. Then we perform a copy-and-paste
operation to enter the hex codes into the Reverse VM Code.
The "Title Menu" is also stored as a standard Program Chain (PGC). Therefore, a
title menu or any VTS menu can also have a pre-command and a post-command section.
The virtual command GPRM2 = 2, LinkTailPGC (button 0) means that the GPRM2 is set
to 2 and the post-command section of the title menu is executed next without any
button highlighting. The ebook publication
Unofficial
DVD Specifications 2.2 offers detailed explanations of these virtual commands.
We enter the virtual commands for the post-command section of the title menu as
following. This command simply links to the VTS root menu ("1-Root"). Another
simpler way to link to the VTS root menu is dragging the button icon of the
title menu and dropping the connection into the VTS root menu. DVD-Lab Pro
will dynamically generate the same virtual command in the post-command section.
