We now locate the sample video clips provided with this guide. These video clips are short NTSC DVD-compliant elementary MPEG-2 files (having video streams only). Once the files are found, DVD-Lab Pro displays basic attributes of the video files such as resolution, broadcast standard, frame rate, file size, and screen aspect ratio. Drag these video clips from the File Brower and drop them to the Assets window as following.



The video files are checked for DVD compliance. If there are no known problems, they are registered as available video assets and can be used throughout the project. Now we can preview a video file registered in the Assets window by double-clicking on its name. The Preview window has a standard playback toolbar to let you play back, fast forward, I-frame preview, or stop the playback of a selected video clip.

We now locate the sample audio clips provided with this guide. These audio clips are short Digital Dolby 2-channel stereo AC-3 files (having audio streams only). Once the files are found, DVD-Lab Pro displays basic attributes of the audio files such as sampling frequency, bit rate, frame rate, file size, number of channels and the recording format. Drag these audio clips from the File Brower and drop them to the Assets window as following.
