We now click the Connections tab in the main window or double-click the component
"Connections" in the Project window to see the existing connection relationship
of the current project as shown in the following screen shot. DVD-Lab Pro provides
the following default connection so that when the DVD disc is inserted into a DVD
player (or upon power up), or when the "Title" button on the remote control is
pressed, the first movie is played back automatically. The arrows in the following
screen show the playback flow direction.
The Connection tab provides the work space where the user can create navigation
links. DVD-Lab Pro automatically constructs the required virtual commands to
support the desired navigation. The DVD author can perform the link assignment
by simple drag-and-drop operations without the need to know the details of the
DVD virtual machine commands required for those operations. For more control of
advanced DVD features needed for low-level authoring, DVD-Lab Pro also offers
limited support for the entire DVD command set as defined by the DVD
specifications. This is the area where DVD-Lab Pro does not offer the ability
to verify full compliance with the use of virtual commands.
We can locate those required video and audio files with DVD-Lab Pro's built-in
File Browser without having to use the Windows Explorer. Click on the File Browser
icon of the Assets tool bar to display the file browser as a tab of the main
window.
