6.1. Graphical display of VTS Data Structures

The above illustration displays major data structures in a Video Title Set VTS which are stored in the file VTS_nn_0.IFO (nn is the VTS number from 1 to 99). The Video Title Set Information Management points to each title and PGC and other data structures in the VTS. The Video Title Set Part-Of-Title acts as an index to all chapters in each video title in the VTS. The Video Title Set Program Chain Units point to all PGCs in the title domain of the VTS. The Video Title Set Menu Program Chain Units point to all PGCs in the menu domain of the VTS, including all predefined menus (root, chapter, angle, audio, and sub-picture). The Video Title Set Language Units provide information on all language units found in the VTS. The Video Title Set Time Map Information provides approximate elapsed time information in the VTS. The Video Title Set Cell Address Map and the Video Object Unit Map point to locations of all cells in the VTS and their associated VOB units.
