Graphical display of typical usage of LinkPGCN
LinkPGCN can be used as a precommand or
postcommand of a PGC, or as a cell command, or as a button command of a menu item.
LinkPGCN transfers playback from one PGC to
another within the same title in the title domain, or within the same language unit.
The language unit may reside in the Video Manager domain or the VTS Menu domain.
In the title domain, this restriction does not allow LinkPGCN to branch from one title
to another PGC in a different title, regardless of where the title is (in the same or
another VTS).
The following illustration shows typical usage of LinkPGCN as postcommand by arrows
drawn in magenta. In the title domain, the source and destination PGCs referenced by
LinkPGCN are within the same video title. If the language unit is part of the Video
Manager, the source and destination PGCs can be the title menu or any PGC in the
VMG. If the language unit is part of a VTS, the source and destination PGCs can be
either a predefined menu (root, angle, audio, sub-picture, or chapter) or any PGC
in the VTSM domain of the specified VTS.
